[BBC Radio Norfolk began broadcasting in 1980. Roy Waller was a much loved presenter of afternoon programmes from the early 1980s until 2009. As a football commentator he was known as ‘the voice of Carrow Road’. He died in 2010 and his funeral was held in Norwich Cathedral.
